Morning Assembly procedure ( 15 minutes )
            All procedures are to be coordinated and conducted by the students of particular house on duty for the whole week supervised by the House coordinator. The PET/PD should ensure the discipline.


  1. Roll call (Class wise)               - 2mins (Class leaders step forward and announce the
                    strength of their class for the day).
  1. Vandemataram                       - 1 min(the whole assembly sings the national song)
  2. SWAEROS Pledge                 - 1min (One of the students recite the swaeros 10  
   Commandments)
  1. News headlines                       - 2mins(one of the students reads out the news headlines
  national, international, regional, local sports, importance
  of the day etc.,)
  1. Thought for the day                - 1 min(One of the students reads out a “thought for the
  day”/ G.K. question)
  1. Talk of a Swaero                    - 2 mins (Some of the students talk on science, Maths,
  social, GK and on any one of the swaeroes 10
  commandments)
  1. Talk of a Teacher                   - 2mins(one of the teachers talk on any subject/moral
  story etc.)
  1. Talk of the principal                - 2 mins(on any announcement/declaration/awards/
               instructions/ information etc)
  1. National Anthem                     - (Sung by all) (1 min)

Scholastic Activities:

1     Commencement of classes for 2nd year intermediate with revision of the important concepts.
2     Preparation of time table by Vice Principal with the assistance of subject teachers/JLs and displaying it in Class Rooms, staff Room and principal chamber.
3     Submission of Class wise and subject wise Annual syllabus division by the subject teachers by 20.06.2015.
4     Month-wise division of the syllabus sent from the Head Office should be followed for classes V to Intermediate.
5     Month Wise Division of Syllabus sent from “Centre for Innovation of Residential School system” (CIRSS) (i.e., District Co-ordinator point) should be followed for intermediate.
6     Submission of Lesson plan/Teacher Diary and Teaching notes on every Friday by all the teaching staff to the Principal.
7     Bridge Course for Class – V (from June-2015 to August – 2015)

Co-Scholastic Activities:

  1. Roll call in the Attendance Registers by the P.D. & PET (to be taken at 5 am and 6 pm every day)
  2. 1st spell recording of the Height and Weight of the students by the Physical Education Teachers. (PET & PD) by 30.06.2015.
  3. Battery test to be conducted by PD/PET.
  4. Preparation of different play field by PD/PET.
  5. Acquaint the newly joined students of class V, VI, VII, VIII, IX & I yr students with the rules and regulations of Residential institution through House Parents.
  6. Librarian to display news and other General Knowledge item every day on the Notice Board.
  7. Health Supervisor/ Staff Nurse to fill the data in Health Cards by conducting a general checkup. All students health cards should be preserved in the clinic and necessary entries should be made from time to time and should be shown to the principal and other inspection officers.
  8. Formation of Clubs - Literary, Maths, Science, Library, General Knowledge, Cultural, Red Ribbon, National Green Corps and consumer awareness club.
  9. Enrollment of the students into various clubs by concerned House parents.
  10. Submission of Academic Year plan by all subject teacher and CLAMPS Teachers to the principal by 30.06.2015.
  11. E-Plus activities everyday between 04:00pm and 4:30 pm.
  12. Teleconference on every Tuesday with District Co-ordinators & listed principals.
  13. Watching MANA TV Programme everyday as per MANA TV Schedules.
  14. In- house competitions Viz. Games for Vocabulary enrichment, word building, Sentence-framing with given word, fast identification of words from a Dictionary, Debate, Elocution, Spell Bee, Quiz, songs and other cultural competitions to be conducted on every Saturday between 7:00pm to 9:00pm (Any other competitions/ games which create interest among children may be taken up).
  15. “ANKUR” on every Saturday

TESTS & EXAMS:

·         All the Subject Teachers to conduct Competency Test to all classes to assess the already possessed Knowledge and the learning levels of the students which should be recorded in the PMRs and plan of action to be prepared for their academic improvement.
·          Project work in each subject should be given and recorded in the project record book for classes V to X.
·          Weekly assignments in each subject.
·          Weekly slip tests and flash test in each subject.(Separate guidelines will be issued in detail for conducting weekly and flash tests).
·          Base line test for V to VIII – 23rd – 30th June 2015.

ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES:

·         Staff meeting with JLs to review the performance in Public Examination - March 2015.
·         Cleaning of the campus under the supervision of all the teachers on every second Saturday which is to observed as Clean and Green Day/ Swatch Bharath from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
·         Admission to Intermediate 1st year to be taken up as per the Society schedule.
·         To allot class teacher and House Parents to all the classes.
·         Issue of T.C. Memo and Bonafied to outgoing students (S.S.C & Senior Intermediate).
·         Staff - meeting to be conducted, during the last week of this month.
·         Appointment of Vice-Principal, care taker, Formation of Committees at Institution level.
·         V Class admission to be taken up as per society guidelines.
·         Review of X class Public Examination results with the subject teachers on 15.06.2015.
·         Submission of Teacher vacancy position to the District Co-ordinator by 25.06.2015.
·         Preparation of Institutional plan and submission to the society office by 30.06.2015.
·         Constitution of Mess, House Keeping Committee and Consumer Rights Awareness Committees.
·         Formation of National Green Crops.
·         Mess Committee Meetings to be conducted on 7th, 15h and 28th of every month. Supervision of mess by the mess committee members, review of mess expenditure and balances for providing special items from the accrued balances.
·         House Keeping Committee meeting as per the need Vice principal is the chairman.
·         “QUEST” -Principal / Vice-Principal has to visit homes of two students and submit the report to the Head Office by 10th of every month through the District Co-ordinator with photographs.

REMARKS

·         Bridge courses are to be planned to the needy in every class.
·         For V & VI classes English learning and basic Mathematics are to be taken up at least for the first three months.
·         Acquainting the students with public examination question paper in CCE pattern model.
·         Every day 'Teacher Talk' in Assembly should be on Morals, Life Skills, current affairs and any other topics.
