CM KCR announces 25,000 job vacancies in Telangana

Putting an end to the long and grueling wait for the unemployed, Telangana Government has finally decided to issue a notification for filling up the 25,000 government jobs next month. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced the news on Tuesday, on the occasion of first anniversary of Telangana State formation.
With the announcement of the massive recruitment drive, the unemployed youth In Telangana had a lot to cheer from the Formation Day celebrations held at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad. KCR has also assured the contract employees to commence the process of regularization from July and complete it by the year end.
The Telangana CM has also announced the construction of 50,000 double bedroom houses for the poor at a cost of Rs. 2,500 crores, which would cost Rs. 5.4 lakhs per house this year. The government is also determined to execute 12 percent reservations for minorities and Girijans and separate committees were constituted. The Palamur Lift Irrigation Scheme and Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Scheme works would commence soon on the priority basis. KCR further mentioned his government flagship programmes Mission Kakatiya and Haritha Haaram.
“Telangana government has earmarked Rs. 28,000 crores for the welfare of the poor via schemes like Aasara, Arogya Lakshmi, Kalyana Laxmi, Shadi Mubarak and others, which is the first time in the history of the state and the country. The government has also increased pay hikes for various sections of employees and taken the needed measures for  revival of RTC.
