With reference to the 1st cited above, it was decided to give
home-work to the students during this Summer vacations i.e.,
April/May’2015. Named as “Summer
Samurai” the project work was given Class -wise and subject-wise.
Accordingly an amount of Rs.5,000/-
was released to all the institutions vide reference 2nd cited for
making photo copies of the project- work to be given to the students.
In
view of the above, all the Principals of TSWR Institutions are hereby directed
to follow the procedure as given under:-

The
class-teacher should collect the project-work of all the subjects from all the
students as soon as the student comes to
the school.
·
The collected
Project-work should be handed over to the concerned subject teachers.
·
All the
subject teachers should evaluate project-work done by every student and allot
marks.
·
The evaluation
procedure should be done as per the rubric parameters given as under and marks
consolidated.

Project-works
which are received on 12.06.2015 to 16.06.2015 upto 3.00pm will be considered in
the race for winning the prize.
·
Those
Project-work which are brought on 16.06.2015 after 3.00pm will also be
collected and valuated, but will not be considered for awarding prizes.
·
Every
teacher/subject teacher should prepare a place in the class-room to display the
“Summer Samurai Project work.
·
There will be
two prizes for both the sections, put
together i.e., 1st Prize and 2nd Prize.

The highest scoring project and the 2nd
highest scoring project in all subjects put together will be awarded 1st & 2nd prizes
respectively.
·
The class teacher along with two subject teachers
will revalidate the selected projects and also other projects and confirm the Prize
winning projects.
·
The 1st prize winner will receive a cash award of Rs.300/- and the 2nd
prize winner will receive a cash award of Rs.200/-.
·
For all the Projects which are valued marks should
be awarded and a tag displaying the marks should be attached.
·
Every class should display all the projects in their
class-room itself and keep it open for visitors/ teachers / students etc.
·
It is a must that every teacher in the institution
including PD, PED, Librarian & Staff Nurse should visit every class and see
all the projects.
·
A blank chart should be kept near the display table
and whoever visits should write a comment either encouraging, appreciating or
suggesting new ideas on the projects which are displayed.
·
The comment should be specific along with the name
of the students who have prepared it.
This chart should be displayed in the class-room during this academic
year.
·
All the students from classes V to Intermediate 2nd
year should also visit these projects either during the short interval / lunch
time/ evening and write a line of appreciation
for their friends.
·
All this should be completed by 19.06.2015

The prizes should be given on the “FRESHER’S – DAY”.
Therefore, all
the District Coordinators should also visit the institutions in their districts
and also other district if possible and appreciate the work done by the
students and give suggestions, wherever needed.
All the District Coordinators are hereby directed to bring the “BEST
PROJECTS” of their district to the Head Office by 25.06.2015.
